Owner Services: Management

As a logical extension of the Rental Department, Sibarth offers an internal Villa Management Service, which aims to effectively meet all of the needs and requirements of villa owners. Sibarth guarantees a responsible presence on the island year-round for the supervision and maintenance of your property. There are several different contracts available, according to the degree of service required.

For non-residents, we find that the "Standard Service Plan" is best adapted, as it offers maintenance, housekeeping and accounting services to insure smooth operation of your rental on a daily basis. We are your eyes and ears on the island. Our interest is to protect your investment. Sibarth has 7 persons dedicated to that department with 6 vehicules, 5 storages to provide any equipment that would miss for the client. With 20 years of experience in management, Sibarth is the only company to have such ressources to serve you.

The Standard Service Plan includes:

  • Accounting and Administrative Management, including bookkeeping in Euros and US Dollars. Owners are provided with a monthly report of incomes and expenses for the property.
  • Representation with regard to the French Administration, Local Authorities and diverse service providers like insurance.
  • Long-term maintenance and upkeep of the property, supervision of villa employees, regular maintenance and repair proposals, including pre-negotiated estimations.
  • 24-hour Emergency Repair Service, unique in St Barth.
  • Housekeeping to insure that the villa is clean and well kept at all times and impeccably cleaned and orderly for arrivals. This also includes the purchase, delivery and inventory of cleaning supplies, as well as supervision of villa employees.
  • Supervision, security and regular inspection of the villa and its equipment.
  • Securing the property for hurricane season (installation of shutters and protections, etc.). In case of hurricane, all the agency is dedicated to protect the villas and check them for any damages and do all the steps needed with the insurance company.
  • Arrival and departure pick-up services, as well as access to Sibarth’s reservation services.
  • Advice with regard to interior design and villa provisioning, including the purchase of necessary articles in the owner’s absence.

The Accounting Plan: this is for people who need only accounting service, mostly for bills payment.

The Limited Service Plan: more restricted, it also exists for owners who wish to maintain their villa themselves. It includes mostly accounting and emergency repair service. This is imporant for us to have a person 24/7 available for the clients.

The Emergency Service Plan: this one is more for resident owners who remain responsible for any operation in their villa.

The Sibarth Maintenance Department is made up of teams of professionals, fully equipped with the necessary materials and vehicles. The maintenance staff is entirely dedicated to this sole activity within Sibarth. The coordination of tasks is made from the maintenance office at the agency, and teams are dispatched all over the island by radio or telephone.

These teams execute maintenance tasks according to remarks from the reception at Sibarth, based on client feedback, housekeeping or from any member of the villa staff (maid, gardener or pool man). Maintenance employees are available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week via our Emergency Hotline, which is occupied at all times by a bilingual supervisor. This service is unique on the island, a trademark of Sibarth.

Regular maintenance of your property insures that operating equipment is kept in good working order, which reduces the risk of rental loss due to technical problems. Maintenance staff informs owners, in advance, of necessary work for the general maintenance of the villa and provides corresponding estimates.

The same process is used for improvement projects planned by owners themselves. Sibarth makes every effort to coordinate the work with the reservations department so as not to interfere the schedule of rentals.

Within the framework of the Standard Service Plan, services include:

  • Appliance maintenance
  • General upkeep of villa condition (painting, woodwork, etc.)
  • Supervision of villa employees
  • Water and gas supply
  • Electrical and plumbing maintenance and equipment supply
  • Collection and transport of goods shipped for the villa
  • Garbage collection
  • Maintenance of hi-fi material and safes
