Villa Palm Springs (GEM)- A small road surrounded by a dense vegetation, large rocks here and there and you have arrived in front of the luxurious entrance to Villa GEM. Three flights of grand white steps bordered by beautiful jardinières lead onto an immense wide open deck. The long infinity pool welcomes you on your right. On your left, a perfectly manicured green grass square breaks the uniformity of space, leading to a large bungalow. But you take only a short glance, because your eye is irresistibly attracted by a breathtaking sea view: a 200° panorama of eternity and profound karma as you gaze on the immensity of the Caribbean horizon. You remain jolted, with the feeling that the more you look, the more the horizon recedes and you wonder into another world.
Sunsets are worthy of an old masters painting: the sky and the sea ignite, and pass through all shades of red and orange, delicate roses and deep purple by stormy weather. GEM beacons through its integration with the natural surroundings, cloistered against large rocks; it has been designed as to preserve the generous vegetation and natural surroundings, and the owners have taken great care to embellish the garden with flowery plants, tropical vegetation and beautiful greenery, all masterfully illuminated at night. The foundation of Main House is structured as a Cube within a cube, laying out the visionary architectural design of the Villa. The external walls offer clear openings in a calculated diametric rhythm to ease the flow of the ocean breeze.
Further along, the grand Master bedroom welcomes you with its refined leather upholstery and a unique oversized bathroom fitted out in an original way: the wash basins are face to face, separated by a large mirror. All carpentry is made of wengue wood, produced on the island. It develops a unique theme of different colors in all 4 bedrooms and the main living areas, thereby creating grandeur and uniformity in style throughout the property. The window of one of these rooms, reminiscent of a « James Bond » scenery, looks directly into the swimming pool as an aquarium: a great idea, an extraordinary vision... « Palm Springs » evoques the insouciant epoch of the 60s through its luxurious choice of materials, its brilliant photos of Slim Aarons and the three great translucent purple chandeliers above the kitchen central unit.
